Hi Does anyone know of anyone who has managed to get permission/license to alter an internal stud wall in their property? I have written to the management company but they have requested professional drawings to look at before they will even consider it. (Money down the drain as far as im concerned) Im in a block that does not have a property manager and doesnt have group insurance. Im sure someone must have done similar changes. Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I feel like im talking to a machine when i speak to the managing agents. Thanks

You could try to contact the trustees of your Management Company directly. Try the 'Local Contacts' section of this site, then click 'Management Companies' at the bottom. Google the names shown or try bt.com to get an address or phone number. Bear in mind that these are unpaid volunteers so only call them at a decent time.
If no details are shown, google the name of the management company instead. That should bring a link to Companies House (sorry, can't recall what the site is called) and the Director's names are on there. Then as above.
Good luck!
