Has anyone seen the bond film yet? Casino Royale. Not sure if its all hype or worth going to see.

I saw it on the Friday (17th Dec) of its release and the cinema was packed. It's not your run of the mill Bond film there's a lot more action and violence, hence its 12A certificate.
I my opinion it certainly warrants a trip to the cinema to benefit from the big screen experience but if you're a bit squeamish keep your legs firmly crossed during the torture scene.
Ouch!

I don't get to go to the cinema much these days but I made a special effort to get babysitting and went to see Casino Royale. I was really dubious at first as I don't like it when they change Bonds but Craig was really good and he grew on me. The film is great as it is. Fast paced and lots of twists and you never know when it's going to end! I agree with militarymartin that you need to see it for yourself before forming an opinion.

I went to see Casino Royale and found it too violent for me. Previous Bond movies always have the big 'explosion' at the end, whereas in Casino Royale they were all the way through! A much gentler movie is the recently released Miss Potter.
